Market figures are published Bangalore ranges (₹8,000–₹20,000 flat, or ₹8–₹25 per sqft, with thermal imaging commonly billed at ₹4,000–₹6,000 extra). They are indicative ranges, not a quote from any particular company. Very large or unusual properties may be quoted individually — we confirm before booking.
About these numbers
How accurate is this estimate?
The HomeGyan figure is our actual flat price, not an estimate — ₹5,999 for handover and resale inspections, ₹2,999 for annual maintenance. Very large or unusual properties are quoted individually and we confirm the figure before booking, never after.
Why do other companies charge per square foot?
Per-square-foot pricing (typically ₹8–₹25/sqft in Bangalore) scales the bill with floor area even though much of the work does not. The electrical system, plumbing and drainage of a 2,400 sqft home are not twice the work of a 1,200 sqft one, but the bill is. Flat pricing is generally better value above roughly 1,200 sqft.
Is thermal imaging really included?
Yes, at no extra cost. It is commonly quoted as a ₹4,000–₹6,000 add-on elsewhere. We treat it as core scope because concealed moisture and electrical hotspots are precisely what a visual walkthrough cannot find — an inspection without it is substantially less useful.
Are there any charges the calculator does not show?
No. The price shown covers the inspection, the photographic report, the RERA rectification letter and the follow-up re-inspection after the builder repairs. There is no charge to request a booking, and nothing is payable until the inspection is confirmed.
